Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Free Sample

Here’s one that’s not one of the mainstream fragrances you’re probably used to so I thought I would add this for you, it’s a free sample of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540. I know it’s a strange name for a fragrance and probably a little difficult to pronounce, lol, I know it was for me. This sample comes in a carded cover with a 2 ml mini pump vial.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not really that good at describing a scent. Whenever I get a whiff of a fragrance, I get a big rush of images and ideas that flood my head and just trying to describe them in an orderly fashion is almost impossible for me and probably more so for those trying to understand me. So here goes, Baccarat Rouge 540 is a very different kind of scent. At first it seemed almost like all the other mainstream fragrances, you get this light cotton candy note with a hint of saffron. Then as time goes on, it starts to progress into a realm of delight including woody notes along with sage and lavender. The finally the amber-wood comes out and it’s just an overloading of wonderful scents. Normally if these were separate or one was stronger than the other I probably would have been turned off, but Baccarat Rouge just puts them all together really nicely.

And just to point out how one fragrance can be nice for one person doesn’t necessarily mean that another person will like the same one. My husband came near me and gave me a dirty look like he wanted to get away from me. He didn’t tell me why until I asked him later that evening and he told me that I smelled like a grandmother. I was devastated but that wouldn’t stop me from enjoying this fragrance, so, I guess he’ll have to suffer. Lol.

As for the longevity of Baccarat Rouge 540, it is quite impressive. It definitely lasts all day and peaks after about 2 to 3 hours. I sprayed some on in the morning and I swear by the next morning I could still smell a hint of it on my skin. Just an absolute delight to wake up to. This is really one of the top 10 fragrances that I’ve had the pleasure of trying this year. I highly recommend anyone to give this free sample of Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 a try.
