MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage Free Sample

I think some of you will be excited to hear about this free sample of MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage. You get one (1) tube that contains 6ml (0.2 us fl oz) of primer to try. It’s a great way to try it out before spending the $30 for the full size.

I always get excited when I get any MAC samples because it seems so rare that I get any so, knowing I was going to get this made me very happy. MAC usually brings out good quality products. Unfortunately for me, my experience wasn’t very good 🙁

As some of you already know, I have very sensitive skin and I seem to break out very easily. I noticed soon after applying my sample of MAC Prep + Prime that I was getting a little itchy. I didn’t think anything of it. The next day I had a few breakouts. But you know what, I probably should have done my homework first and do some research on other reviews of this product. If I had done that, I would have found that other people with sensitive and acne prone skin have found that they would breakout as well using this same primer. So, I do blame myself. I found that some of the ingredients are not agreeable to sensitive skin including silicone. Which seems to clog my pores and give a bit of a bumpy texture too.

I would recommend this product only if you have skin that does not irritate easily and you don’t have acne prone skin. I also hear that it lasts a really long time, so that’s a plus… If you qualify, give this free sample of MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage a try. But be cautious. Maybe try a bit on your skin first just to test it out. That’s probably what I should have done…

Wow!! This is by far the best primer I’ve tried. Other formulas have been too drying, too oily, or just without any benefit that I’ve noticed. This stuff goes on like a matte moisturizer, sinks in fast, has a pleasant, not overwhelming smell, and really does seem to make my concealer last FOREVER. Great product.

when I put on this primer, my skin does not have that primer feel to it. i like my primer to have that smashbox primer (my favourites) silky feel to it. this just doesn’t do it for me 🙁

Terrible primer, full of sparkles which add nothing to the wear just make your face look like a vampire. Was not impressed at all. Glad I could try it first, I would have been really upset if I paid $$$ for this.
