La Prairie Life Threads Ruby Free Sample

Do you like La Prairie fragrances? If you do, you might want to give this one a try, they’re giving away this free sample of La Prairie Life Threads Ruby. This is part of a three perfume fragrance release, the others are Sapphire and Emerald (currently not available in sample format). Send in your request to receive this fancy new fragrance. It comes in a 1.5 ml vial.

For those curious of the fragrance details, they are as follows: a floral and oriental combination with Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Lily of the Valley, Saffron, Ylang-ylang, Rose, Jasmine, Sandlewood, Vetiver, Musk and Vanilla.

Well, yesterday I tried my sample for the first time and I’m not sure what to say. This is probably my least favorite smelling fragrance I’ve had the displeasure of smelling in months. I think it has to do with the top notes as I’m not really a big fan of bergamot and lily of the valley. It just smelled too much like a cheap old ladies perfume. Much too strong for me. I could very well be just my body chemistry reacting in a way that makes it unappealing for me, I don’t know. I just know that I’ll be staying away from this. I’ve read other reviews about Emerald being the best of the three perfume, I’m curious to see if it really is better.

In spite of my review, if you are still interested in getting your free sample of La Prairie Life Threads Ruby, you must be located in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, New Zealand, or Australia. Limit of one (1) vial per household. No purchase necessary.

La Prairie has created one of the finest fragrances I’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. This sample of Life Threads Ruby is the most beautiful creamy fragrance with a dominant red rose note and powerful ylang-ylang. It’s so warm and alluring that it makes me want to keep smelling my wrist. Simply… amazing. Thank you. (sorry for the long rant 🙂 )
