Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum Free Sample

I was pretty sure I had a good idea what this was going to smell like and boy was I wrong. I was expecting the typical floral or fruity scent, but what I got was a leather smell. At first I had to pull my nose away because it was totally unexpected but after a moment I was mesmerized. I really kind of liked it, not saying it’s my favorite but it’s definitely unique. When I put it on my skin, I could kind of smell a weak citrus (maybe orange?) then with the dry-down, it’s baby powder and leather. Very nice. And it’s not a strong scent either, so you don’t have to worry about giving yourself a headache or the person next to you one, lol.

This is not a perfume that many people like. I’ve seen some of the reviews online and there are some people who are repulsed by it, perhaps the reason for that is the unique leather smell. Or maybe it’s because it does have a hint of masculine to it. Either way, you really should give this a try.
